 ICTP Collaboration with AfricaICTP hosted a delegation from the African Union‘s Programme for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI) from 2 to 5 May. During the visit, the delegates -- including ESTI Commissioner Mohammed Belhocine -- reviewed the long ties between ICTP and the African Union (AU) as well as opportunities for future cooperation.  David Gross & Giorgio Parisi Share Stage at ICTP Public EventICTP hosted a public dialogue at Trieste‘s Teatro Miela featuring two Nobel Laureates with close ties to ICTP: David Gross and Giorgio Parisi. The two discussed “Physics: What Remains to be Discovered” in front of a packed theatre and to a streaming audience of more than 500 viewers. Moderated by Trieste science journalist Simona Regina, the lively talk covered topics ranging from the role of science in society to the different research perspectives of the two Nobel laureates.
