 United Nations Hosts Special Session on ICTPOn Friday 9 May, ICTP’s 60th anniversary was celebrated at the United Nations’ headquarters, in New York. Some 200 representatives of the UN’s member countries attended the event “Advancing Global Scientific Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Leveraging Quantum Science for a Resilient Future” organised by the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN and by UNESCO.  ICTP Gathering Friends and Building Support in the U.S.In early May, ICTP travelled to the United States for a series of events that combined meaningful engagement with friends and supporters, and an important institutional celebration at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
