ICTP Celebrates 60 Years of Science Without BordersScientists, local and national dignitaries, and representatives from some of the world's most prominent science institutions paid their respects to ICTP at a day-long celebration for its 60th anniversary. Participants from 38 countries crossing 5 continents united to honour the Centre's rich history and to contemplate scenarios for the future. The event gave an opportunity for ICTP to not only showcase the ongoing relevance of its mission but also to share a glimpse of its future directions. Join the ICTP Global Science PortalICTP celebrates its 60th birthday by launching a dynamic online platform to connect, consolidate and expand its scientific community. The new ICTP Global Science Portal allows all members of the ICTP family, past and present, to maintain their links to the institute and each other. The Portal can be used on mobile and desktop devices, providing users with personal profile pages, a live feed for sharing research updates and opportunities, direct messaging, groups for each research section with discussion forums, a map-based people searching tool, news, and events listings.
